Hola I have stayed hotel 1st Time for week , early mornings for me always have Hot Coffee. Quiet place. Staff excellent. Cece , Officer Green always funny good work always do his job and protect property. Owner has changed location since last stay here very clean. Nice people and commuinty
1st Place guest always. Monica always there to help when you need. Front desk staff is awesome. Shan, Chalis, Mr.E (the owner) , Chief, security everyone. I been a guest of 1st place over 3 years and makes me feel safe. Property is clean. Church on Sundays. Lobby is clean and new. Rooms renovated . Definitely a change of better. Cold out but folders In the morning keeps me warm. Staff Chalis and Shan are the best. Chief holds security down . Green cool. Officer comes always funny they all do a good job. Me and my daughter safe and comfy thanks to the owner and helping the community.
We had a great stay at this hotel! Everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming from start to finish. A special shoutout to Shan, who was absolutely awesome! Shan went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and made our experience even better. Exceptional service like that truly stands out. We’ll definitely be back!
I made the decision to stay another week thanks to Chalis! The customer service here is unmatched. Security even helped me carry my groceries in, which I truly appreciated. Housekeeping had my room smelling fresh and looking amazing. This level of care and professionalism is why this is the best hotel in Decatur!
When I am in town this is where I come to. Checkin efficient. Free Wi-Fi . Very big on housekeeping and I love that housekeeping goes above and beyond especially. You can always call or go to the front desk open 24 hours for Guest services. I’m always happy at 1st Place!!! Keep Striving!! I’ll be back!!! My Girl Shalis the best !!!
I absolutely love this hotel. What the owner Edward has done to this property is truly transformational. My stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the front desk team and every staff member I encountered were warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to providing exceptional service. The property itself was outstanding, and the overall atmosphere made my visit both comfortable and memorable. I truly enjoyed every aspect of my experience, and without hesitation, I will choose 1st Place again whenever I return to the area. Not to mention, the 24/7 security is an added bonus.
So I have to say my stay was phenomenal. I checked in and was greeted by customer service and they were awesome although they were in the middle of changing shifts. There’s a lady by the name of Monica I believe she is the best. My room was clean and smelled great. I have no complaints and will definitely come back.
